Public Notice:
The Richland County Park District is proposing to resurface all 18.4 miles of the B&O bike trail from the Village of Butler to the City of Mansfield. In addition to the resurfacing, the project will install ADA compliant curb ramps with detectable warning devices, pedestrian cross walks, pavement markings and signing.
All work will be completed within the existing right of way. Construction is anticipated to begin in the fall of 2026 and be completed in the summer of 2027.
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
